New temporary URL for the board

I'm not sure what the hold-up is on getting our forums.ronin-studios.com address working again. But anyway, I've created a temporary address that you can use (and feel free to spread around) that points back to here for the time being.

Is there an easy way to automatically link the forums with this address? I know that adding /forumdisplay.php?f=x to the URL works, but just hover over the links and you'll see it currently still shows the IP and everything.

All I'm doing is a DNS record redirect. If I was managing this website, I could do it in a jiffy, but unfortunately all I can do is mask it.

http://forums.scartissue-comic.com will bring you here and keep the URL masked the whole time. (The URL will stay http://forums.scartissue-comic.com in the "Address" field in your browser, but hovering over links will not cloak the address.)

If you don't like that, use http://forum.scartissue-comic.com which will simply redirect to the full URL with the IP address in it.

Either way works now.

Just an update as to why there's no domain.

The server needs a program called BIND installed, which basically allows the domain (ronin-studios.com) to attach itself to this server and be pointed to the correct info. For whatever reason, it's conflicting with the OS. This is why the server has been going down so frequently.

I do apologize, and they're trying to fix it. Once I know more, I'll let you guys know.

Also, any extra forums will be up tomorrow. I've not been here the past three days at all to go through and do what needs to be done. Sorry about that, but books like Scar Tissue will have forums tonight or tomorrow.
