Great news, the roster for #2 is almost full now too, so this series is getting off to a great start :)

Hmm...there's alot of anthology books here...is it ok to submit part of your actual comic to one?

Art, you didn't start your reply with 'great news'.
But about your question, I think if you have a short story that is related to your title the answer is yes. For preview sort of stuff there is a rumbling of putting out a preview book for the whole studio.

Great news indeed, that would be awesome to see :boogie

It is pretty much like Matthew said, if you have a short story that is a story under your series, then yes. But if you mean a preview of your full comic, no. But Eric Williams brought up the idea of a preview book for upcoming and newly released Ronin Studios titles.

Well, don`t hold your breath, though ;) My current workload won`t let me take on a short story till june/july. I might be able to help with a cover or something like that, if you need any :)

Ok, cool! I might have to type up a brief short story that will tie into my mini.

Darn, well sometime :)

I think it was in another thread that I mentioned the stories must be stand alone stories, just to clarify :) They can be from an already ongoing series, but they can't be a continuation, or a part of, another story. However, I discovered that a short story prelude works as long as it doesn't leave a reader hanging :)

I like Dan`s cover the most. The other one`s good too, but I dunno, the other`s another version of Ronin`s logo...

I'll ask Barry about it, but I assume they're coming - Ka-Blam/IndyPlanet's had a busy summer, so there's bound to be a glitch here and there on their site.

There was definitely a glitch and only one of the two covers was posted, but I'm trying to get that fixed.
Due to internet issues I haven't been able to place orders for the contributors from this issue YET ^_^;;

I did get the proof copy of each cover in the mail the other day. They both look great. Jonathan's painted cover was really really high contrast.

Awesome! :) Once I upload some funds to the ol' Paypal account, I'll be getting myself an issue of this. Any word from Barry on adding the alternate cover and preview pages?
Diana Greenhalgh
10-29-2007, 02:11 AM
The alternate cover is now available but they need to check the cropping of the pages before they print the contributor orders :)

Any word on the contributor copies? I want to get some since there is that Venger story in there.

I'm still waiting for word on the fix for the cropping issues. For some reason the proof copies printed only being cropped on the upper and left sides of the pages O_o

11-20-2007, 02:41 PM
Well that's weird. It is available for sale though on Indyplanet. Does that mean if someone is ordering a copy they are getting a screwed up copy?
Diana Greenhalgh
11-20-2007, 02:46 PM
I know, but I have no idea until they get back to me about it :(
Diana Greenhalgh
12-30-2007, 05:12 PM
The issue was a programming error --- its been fixed so I can now place the contributor orders!
