Hey all,

I'm the leader of a creative team that is really dedicated to breaking into the manga industry. Our primary target is Tokyopop, as they allow unagented submissions and have lenient guidelines.

There are three writers, including myself, and three artists currently working on two projects. The artists are inexperienced, though they handle character portraits and backgrounds quite well.

What I'm looking for are artists who really want to make a career in manga. This isn't a pay-for-picture job, as much as a collaboration where the payment is a three volume contract with Tokyopop. The only thing you'd have to do now is draw six pages of finished sequential art, inked and toned, and touched up with Photoshop. We have the script ready, we just need the visuals.

The two projects are quite different, and you can choose one or both. The first is a spoof on reality tv, including cute cross-dressing boys, chicks (the kind born from chickens), bitter ex-girlfriends, and two million dollars at the end of the season if one character plays his cards right. It's funny, light, and reminiscent of Ranma 1/2 and Love Hina.
The second is an action manga about a gun-toting half-angel who goes to earth to Damn rogue angels. It's more serious, grittier in style, and requires more skill.

If you're interested and want more info on the two projects, please email me at Averywaltz@yahoo.com.

Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Eddie O.
